Canmore accommodations

Canmore Crossing condo

Welcome to a brief description of our Canmore accommodations located in the Canmore Crossing building. Your home away from home. Having enjoyed many happy visits to Canmore ourselves, we want all our guests to feel the same and to feel not only welcome, but “at home” surly the point of staying in someones home is that it is homely, not bland like some hotel rooms! We are fortunate enough as a family to own four penthouse condos, all in the same building and on the same floor. Each of our condos are uniquely decorated, as we resisted the temptation to use furniture packages. However, we feel that each unit has everything you will need for a comfortable stay, whether you are staying for a week-end or a month.

Apartment 406 has been decorated with a First Nations theme in mind as a mark of our interest in the indigenous people of Alberta. Many of the artefacts which you will find in the condo we have sourced locally. We have carried the concept through to the soft furnishings as well. To make this unit not only comfortable, but to add points of interest during your visit.

Apartment 407 has been decorated in a modern style, but also displaying some of our movie memorabilia from Superman 3, which was made in Calgary through to some English TV shows which we have worked on. Of course we can’t change the interior structure of the condos, but we have tried to make them an inviting environment to vacation in.

Apartment 411 This condo has be decorated with a nod to the past with some antiques which we have brought over from England along with some items which we were able to purchase from the Banff Springs hotel, when it had a refurbishment a few years back. However, this unit still has all the mod cons which you would hope to find in a modern condo.

Apartment 413 Our largest condo with a stunning double aspect views across the Bow Valley. You will find an eclectic mix of influences in this apartment with hints of the African continent and the middle east along with East Indian wall hangings. In this condo there is also a dining area for those long lazy vacation meals!

Although nobody wants to spend all their time doing domestic chores when they are on vacation, there is a full sized washer/dryer in each unit along with a fully fitted kitchen containing a dishwasher. The living area has a large LED TV with a DVD player and when you are a guest of ours you can borrow DVD’s from Avalanche Movie Co. just across the road from our condos. All tiled areas in the condos are heated for those cozy nights in with additional heating from a gas fire and electric central heating. We are also able to offer secure heated underground car parking and during you stay with us you will have your own allocated park space so no hunting around trying to find somewhere to park, an elevator brings you strait to your unit. Entry to both the car park and the condos is totally keyless so no keys to get lost and you won’t be wasting any time lining up to collect keys.

Canmore Crossing hot tubYou will also have access to three communal hot tubs, one is on the roof of the building were you will be staying and the others are in the adjacent connected buildings. One indoor tub and the other tub is on the roof. When using the roof top hot tubs you will be able to enjoy the stunning mountain views. Of course you are not going to want to spend the whole of your trip in the units! That isn’t a problem because we are only a short walk from most of Canmore’s amenities including the new civic centre which houses Elevation place, Canmore’s brand new sport facility with swimming pool and exciting water slides.
