Terms and Conditions

DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS
A 50% deposit is required when booking. Final payments are due 30 days prior to arrival date. Unless stated different on partner web sites.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Of course we hope you don’t have to change your vacation plans. However, please take note of the following in case changes are unavoidable. For reservations cancelled more than 30 days prior to arrival, 10% of the full booking fee is retained. For reservations cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival, 30% of the full booking fee is retained. Alternatively, reservations may be re-booked for another date within the following 12 months with a $25.00 re-booking fee. Please note: Any amount paid for Easter, Thanksgiving (Canada) and Christmas holiday reservations cancelled less t!han 30 days prior to arrival is 100% non-refundable.

NUMBER OF GUESTS
Let us know how many guests will be in your party. Our condominium does have a maximum number of guests it can legally sleep, but there are additional apartments that sleep the same number of guests available for larger parties on the same floor subject to availability at a discounted rate.

MINIMUM NIGHT STAY REQUIREMENTS
A minimum stay of 3 nights is required for mid week bookings. Sunday to Thursday. Weekends Friday and Saturday are 2 nights minimum. A 5 night minimum during Christmas and New Years, but with so much to see and do around Canmore, we’re sure you’ll want to stay much longer! Higher rates apply for bookings of shorter length.

CHECKING-IN/CHECKING OUT
Check-in time is 4:00 pm Check-out time is 11:00 am. Unless prearranged.

SMOKING
Smoking is not permitted on the property or in any of the common areas. By-Law Applies.
 You cold face upto a $10,000 fine.

TELEPHONE CALLS
There is no charge for calls across Canada. A phone card may be easily purchased for all International calls from both Safeway and Save-On Foods Supermarkets should you wish to make international calls.

SPORTS EQUIPMENT
Sports equipment such as bikes, skis and snowboards are not permitted in the condominiums. Secured, individual storage lockers and locks are provided subject to availability in the underground car park along with a public bike rack to secure your bike to.

LINENS AND TOWELS
Linens and towels are provided for the maximum number of people each condominium accommodates. You will also find enough crockery,cutlery and glasses for the maximum number of guests.

COMPLAINTS REGARDING ACCOMMODATION
Our description of the properties available for rental are made in good faith. We do not accept liability for the loss or theft of any goods while staying in our apartment. Please double check that you have locked your front door correctly. You may need to push or pull the door away from you. However, you can be assured that Rentals in the Rockies will do their best to arrange to have any problems solved promptly for you where possible.

HOUSEKEEPING
Housekeeping is provided before and after each guest rental period. Daily housekeeping can also be arranged at an additional fee.

STANDARD KITCHEN ITEMS
You’ll find all cooking utensils and cutlery are provided. You’ll also find a starter pack of supplies such as salt, pepper, paper towels, dishwasher detergent,laundry detergent and toilet tissue.
However, we do ask that you honour the system, i.e.: if you deplete an item during your stay, please replace it for the next guest, thank you.

QUIET TIME
Please respect our quiet time between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am. There is a $10,000 penalty for any infringement.

BABY & CHILD NEEDS
If you have small children or babies, please let us know in advance whether you require a travel cot, stroller and/or a booster chair. You use these items at your own risk. Most restaurants and leisure activities in and around Canmore are baby/child/family friendly.

PETS
Sorry we do not accept pets.

PARKING
Allocated, secure, heated underground parking is provided for one vehicle per condominium. Height clearance for vehicles is 6’ 9”, 2.1M All oversize vehicles and extra vehicles may be parked at the adjacent outside parking lot free of charge.

Hot Tubs
Hot tubs are serviced regularly as a matter of public health and safely. If you find the hot tub in your building is not available the codes issued to you will also give you access to the hot tubs in the other two buildings in the Canmore Crossing complex.

LIMIT OF LIABILITY
If for reasons beyond our control, the reserved property becomes unavailable, we reserve the right to transfer guests to a similar property of similar value. We will try to make you aware of the change, however, in some cases, prior notification may not be possible. We cannot be held liable for any further obligations or claims by you. We do not accept responsibility for the breakdown of the supply of utilities, water, gas or essential services including the Gym and Hot tubs which are in a common area and beyond our control.

 

ITEMS LEFT AT PROPERTY
Rentals in the Rockies do not accept responsibility for lost or stolen items. However, if an item is left at a condominium, we will notify you and if you wish, ship it to you for $10.00 plus any shipping and handling fee. We will only store lost items for 2 months and then donate them to local charities.
