Canmore Ski Season

Canmore is a great base for skiing in the Bow Valley. Skiing normally starts around November 10th and finishes in late May depending on snow conditions. You can ski “The Big 3”, Sunshine Village, Norquay and Lake Louise or head to Nakiska, Calgary’s nearest hill. Although having a car is an advantage and driving around the area is easy, dependent on the weather, there is a bus service from Canmore to Banff and pick up connections in and around Banff.  Here is some more information. Join in the fun on some of the best powder on the planet!

If you don’t have your ski equipment with you or you need to hire something then the nearest store is just below the condo. Outside Bike & Ski, 1160 Railway Ave Unit 110, Canmore, AB T1W 1P4, Tel: 403-675-7722 or a short walk will take you to Canmore Ski & Snowboard Rental, 1080 Railway Ave, Canmore, AB T1W 1P4 Tel: 403-609-3030  Alternatively, you may like to try Gear Up Mountain Sport and Rentals, 1302 Bow Valley Trail, Canmore, AB T1W 1N6 Tel: 403-678-1636 or Switching Gear, 718 10 ST, Canmore, AB T1W 2A6 Tel: 403-678-1992 for some great secondhand gear.
